On Saturday, I visited Incedo’s office at International Tech Park, Sector 59, Gurugram, after receiving an official email inviting me for a walk-in interview.
I was optimistic because I had been invited by the company and prepared accordingly.
Initial Discussion
When I arrived, I was informed that I would not be interviewed because I had previously attended an interview at Incedo’s earlier office in Sector 18, Gurugram.
I explained that I had received a new invitation email for the current walk-in drive and had travelled specifically to attend.
After discussing the matter with another HR representative, I was eventually asked to wait until the end of the interview process and was later given an opportunity to attend the technical interview.
Technical Discussion
The technical interview covered several topics, including:
Stateless vs Stateful Servers
AWS Services
Backend Development
ASP.NET and C#
Microservices
API Design
I answered the questions based on my professional experience and shared both my resume and professional visiting card.
Outcome
After the interview, I was informed that I would not be proceeding further and that I should not apply again for six months.
I did not receive detailed technical feedback explaining which areas I should improve.
Why Feedback Matters
As professionals, we understand that not every interview results in an offer. However, constructive feedback is extremely valuable.
Candidates invest:
Time
Preparation
Travel expenses
Professional commitment
Even brief technical feedback can help candidates identify areas for improvement and prepare better for future opportunities.
My Takeaway
Although this interview did not lead to the outcome I had hoped for, I remain committed to continuous learning and professional growth.
I will continue expanding my expertise in:
ASP.NET Core
C#
React
Angular
Azure
AWS
SQL Server
Microservices
System Design
Enterprise Software Architecture
Every interview—successful or not—adds to experience and resilience. I look forward to future opportunities where my skills and experience can contribute meaningfully.
